What can I do with the free Sandbox account?

You can try out all features and use it to implement Abowire into your solution. This account is free and you can use it for as long as you need.

Since our Sandbox is meant for testing only, you can't use this account to process live transactions.

Once you're done testing and implementing Abowire, you will have to switch to one of our paid plans.

When do I have to start to pay?

Once you decide to activate your production account. You can use our Sandbox for your testing and development phase for free.

Do you charge any revenue-based fee?

No, we charge just a fixed fee. You can earn as much as you like, there is no limit. There are no hidden fees, nor revenue share fees.

What happens once I reach my plan's limit on subscriptions?

If you're on the Starter plan, you will have to switch to the Scale plan.
If you're on Scale plan, we will charge you €0,10 per additional subscription.

In both cases we only count subscriptions that where active within that billing period.

Do you charge for inactive subscriptions?

No, we only count subscriptions that where active within a billing month.

Please note that if your customers subscribe and then cancel within the same month, those subscriptions will still count for that month and stop being counted for the month afterwards.

Can you help me integrate Abowire into my website?

Yes, our Team can assist you with anything you need. We can also implement Abowire in your website for you.

Do I get a test environment?

Absolutel, we provide a TEST environment. You may use it to explore, develop & test before you go LIVE

Are there any cancellation charges?

You can cancel your account at anytime. There are no extra charges for cancellation.

Why don't use Stripe instead?

Since Stripe is a payment provider, they must comply with PSP regulations and are very risk averse. Stripe might close your account the second you got too many disputed payments.

If you’re running all your subscriptions and your invoicing there, they can decide take your whole business away from you at any point. For us that’s an unacceptable risk.
We encapsulate the PSP risk by using them just for payments. If anything happens, we can help you switch to another provider.

Is the data located in EU?

Yes, as a German-based company, our data is located in our cloud provider in Frankfurt, Germany.
